This collection offers users a point of entry to explore the indigenous place names in North America indexed in the WHG. This list does not include every place name in our system, just the datasets oriented around the question of indigeneity. The collection aims to resurface place names and spatial relationships suppressed by conquest and colonialism. The collection is ongoing.
