Description	The Historical Conflict Event Dataset presents 6,951 battlefields with geographic coordinates and dates, ranging from 1468 BCE to 2003 CE. Each entry provides the name, time, location and a short description for sites of historical battles. The dataset was converted from an XML file into the LPF format.
