DescriptionIn this lesson, students will explore and discuss holidays and customs around the world related to honoring the dead such as Día de los Muertos, observed in South America and Mexico, and The Qingming Festival, a traditional Chinese festival. Students will use maps to visualize the different countries and cultures that have celebrations honoring the dead and conduct research in order to compare and contrast these traditions.
